About Lisa
I am a dedicated flute tutor with 14 years of experience, having successfully taught around 150 students from beginner to advanced levels. I am passionate about helping students learn music in a clear and structured way. My teaching method focuses on communication, patience, and flexibility, allowing me to adjust lessons based on each student’s learning pace and style.
I emphasise strong fundamentals such as breathing, fingering, tone production, and rhythm. I make my classes engaging by including exercises, songs, and creative activities that keep students motivated.
I create a friendly and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable to learn and grow. My strength is explaining concepts in a simple and easy way. I also support students with basic music theory. My aim is to help students become confident and skilled flute players.

My teaching methodology for flute is based on understanding students, adapting teaching methods, and maintaining a positive and flexible learning environment. I believe that every student can learn effectively when taught in the right way.
I focus on essential flute techniques such as breathing, tone production, and finger movement. These fundamentals are practised regularly to build confidence and skill.
Flexibility allows me to change lesson plans based on the student’s progress. I make sure that learning is not rushed and that students feel comfortable at every stage.
Collaboration is an important part of my teaching. I encourage students to ask questions, share ideas, and participate actively.
I maintain a positive atmosphere where students feel motivated and confident. I also teach music theory and rhythm to support overall musical growth.
