About Catherin

I am a dedicated singing tutor with 12 years of teaching and professional experience working with school and college students. Music has always been a deep passion for me, and teaching allows me to share that passion with young learners who want to improve their singing skills.

Over the years, I have helped many students discover their voice and develop confidence in performing. Many of my students started their journey feeling shy or unsure about their abilities, but with consistent practice and supportive guidance they gradually became more confident singers.

Some of them have participated in school concerts, cultural programs, and college events. These achievements have been important milestones in my teaching career. In my lessons, I focus on essential vocal techniques such as breathing exercises, pitch accuracy, rhythm understanding, and voice clarity. These fundamentals help students build a strong foundation in singing.

I also encourage students to express emotions through music so their performances feel natural and meaningful. My goal is to create a positive and motivating learning environment where students enjoy music and continue to grow.

About the lesson

My teaching style for singing is centred on flexibility, creativity, understanding, and proper time management. I believe that learning singing should be a structured yet enjoyable process.

I start by helping students strengthen the basics, such as breathing control, vocal warm-ups, pitch accuracy, and voice projection. These foundational skills help students develop a confident and controlled voice.

Creativity is an important aspect of my teaching because singing is about expressing emotion and connecting with music. I encourage students to explore different songs, interpret lyrics in their own way, and experiment with styles to find their unique voice. I also take time to understand each student’s challenges and guide them patiently.

Lessons are structured to balance technical exercises, song practice, and performance feedback. Additionally, I teach related skills like rhythm, music theory, and stage confidence.
