About Garrett
I have 12 years of experience teaching ESL to school and college students, and I am committed to making English learning simple, engaging, and effective. I believe every learner deserves individual attention and lessons that match their pace and personal goals.
My classes focus on grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, writing, pronunciation, conversation practice, Business English, academic writing, presentation skills, interview coaching, and professional communication. I ensure students gain practical language skills that they can use every day.
To make learning enjoyable, I use interactive activities such as debates, storytelling, educational technology, role-playing, videos, online learning platforms, vocabulary challenges, and collaborative projects. These activities encourage active participation while improving confidence and fluency.
I provide continuous assessments, personalized feedback, and targeted practice exercises that help students improve consistently. My classroom is supportive, encouraging, and focused on long-term success. I am passionate about helping students become confident English speakers ready for academic and professional opportunities.

My teaching philosophy is that every student can become a confident English speaker through consistent practice and positive guidance. My teaching style reflects communication, flexibility, creativity, accountability, and integrity. I build lessons that encourage active participation while meeting each student's individual learning goals.
My classes include grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, and writing in a balanced and practical way. I use discussions, storytelling, articles, videos, role-playing, and interactive exercises to make lessons enjoyable and meaningful. Students are encouraged to communicate in English throughout every lesson, helping them improve fluency, confidence, and accuracy naturally.
I stay flexible by adjusting lesson content and teaching methods according to each learner's progress. Personalized feedback, revision sessions, and additional practice help students master difficult topics without feeling overwhelmed. I believe learning should always be encouraging and enjoyable.
Accountability is reflected through goal setting, structured lessons, homework, and regular progress checks. Integrity means treating every learner with fairness, honesty, respect, and patience while supporting them throughout their learning journey.
