About Laura
I was a concept artist and illustrator in the video game industry once upon a time, until I was declared disabled. I have continue to pursue my passion for illustrated books and have been developing a graphic novel for the last 6 months. I specialize in character design and animal anatomy, especially dinosaurs and horses.

I like to build lessons around a student chosen goal: are you looking to do a body of work for a portfolio? Do a study of a specific subject? I like to emphasize drills and motifs: once you draw something 50 or 100 times you are comfortable with it. I use simple lines and shapes and emphasize thinking in 3D space.
