About Chelsea
I am an artist and performer who recently graduated from a Bachelor of Musical Theatre. As I have a degree in Musical Theatre I can provide lessons in singing, monologue work and audition techniques as well as dance. I've also trained with the National Ballet St Kilda and Jason Colemans Ministry of Dance. I completed VCE Dance in year 12 and also coached, taught and mentored students from the 2015 and 2016 graduate pool in their VCE year after I had finished school. These sessions involved choreographic problem solving and dance and movement exercises that help generate movement and style that is individual to the dancer as they developed their solos for assessments.
Furthermore, I have also coached Skipping/jump rope.

Learning is never-ending and a continual process that reveals an exciting change in others and yourself! I like to include a communicational element of how something felt. When a student is encouraged to share this with their teachers, when completing a skill, exercise or technique, it allows us to further personally tailor our teaching style, encouragement and difficulty level for the student. Also, no question is a silly question! Asking leads to learning, which leads to respectful actions that instigate safe learning environments allowing a student to truly be free and reach their full potential!

If a session needs to be rescheduled or you are unable to attend please let me know 24 hours prior to the lesson and I'll be happy to organise a solution that suits you, otherwise, if contact is not made 24 hours prior to the lesson a 50% payment of the class fee will apply.
