About Sophie
I achieved A* in all English areas at GCSE and Alevel. I've finished my degree which covered Language, Literature and Creative Writing, and I am on the road to achieving a 1st. I have lots of tutoring experience in tutoring (for family members, family friends, etc) but wish to take this further and use my subject knowledge to educate other people! I wish to be a teacher in the future and I'm studying a PGCE next year, having already participated in many voluntary hours in Primary/Junior schools.

I will teach either from your home (Sheffield) or mine. My method of teaching is 1-1, with parents present for very young students. I can teach all ages, depending on the desired outcome. Prior to teaching, I would like to be informed of what the student is wishing to achieve - for example, are they studying for their SATS? It would be useful to know the basis of what they need to learn beforehand, but I can offer my opinion on what questions I believe will show in the test, etc.
