About Sayantan

Hi!! This is Sayantan, a FIDE rated coach with FIDE rating of 1775 with a peak rating of 1887.

- 18 years of playing experience and 3+ years of teaching experience.
-Both offline and online teaching experience.
-Have worked with some of the best upcoming talents of West Bengal helping them achieve significant rating gains and a deeper understanding of the game.

I start with analyzing the games and identifying the players weaknesses. The training is based
on the needs of the student. In general I focus on 4 main things- 1. Opening Preparation: Building a solid repertoire based on the playing style. 2. Calculation
3. Positional Understanding 4. Practical Endgames. I also give all the material that I consider necessary for them to work on.

I am comfortable teaching students from beginner to 1800 FIDE Rated players of all age.

About the lesson

In my coaching, I bring a blend of traditional chess teachings and modern strategies. I focus on interactive learning, incorporating practical exercises and real-game scenarios to deepen students' understanding of strategic play.

My classes are structured to provide a balanced mix of theory and practice. Starting with fundamental concepts, I guide students through practical exercises and live gameplay. Regular feedback sessions and post-game analysis contribute to a comprehensive learning experience.
