About John Patrick
Hi! I’m a friendly and patient Tagalog tutor who enjoys helping students learn the Filipino language in a simple and enjoyable way. I believe that learning Tagalog should not feel intimidating, so I create lessons that are relaxed, interactive, and focused on real-life communication.
I can help students improve their speaking, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading, and writing. I also adjust my lessons depending on the student’s level, goals, and learning style.
Whether you’re a complete beginner, a student looking for extra help, or someone who simply wants to become more confident speaking Tagalog, I’m here to help you learn at your own pace.

My teaching method focuses on making Tagalog lessons simple, practical, and interactive. I use a combination of conversation practice, vocabulary building, grammar exercises, and real-life situations. Instead of focusing only on memorization, I encourage students to use Tagalog in everyday conversations.
These techniques includes:

4. Pronunciation practice
5. Grammar in context
What sets me apart is my focus on practical Tagalog that students can actually use. I do not want students to simply memorize vocabulary and grammar rules. I want them to become comfortable using Tagalog in real conversations.
I also make my lessons patient, friendly, and personalized. I adjust the difficulty and activities depending on the student's progress. Whether the student wants to learn Tagalog for school, travel, family communication, or everyday conversation, I can adapt the lessons to their specific needs.
