About Maj

Hello, my name is Maria, and I’m from the Philippines. I’m an experienced ESL teacher with over nine years of teaching experience, working with students from different backgrounds and age groups, particularly adults and professionals.

Throughout my teaching career, I’ve developed strong skills in communication, lesson planning, student engagement, and adapting my teaching style to different learning needs. I’m also TEFL-certified and have experience teaching conversational English, Business English, and IELTS preparation.

What I believe sets me apart is that I don’t simply teach English, I help students become more confident communicators. I’m patient, encouraging, and I create a comfortable environment where students feel safe to make mistakes and improve.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed for students who want to speak English naturally and confidently. I do not just teach grammar rules. I teach you how to use English in real life — at work, while traveling, or with friends. A typical lesson includes free conversation, correction of common mistakes, and new expressions. I am TEFL-certified with over 8 years of online experience. What sets me apart is my warm and patient approach. Lessons are for adults and teenagers who already have basic English and want to become fluent speakers.
