About Udbhavi
I started my career as a filmmaker with a job in a local newspaper. I used to do lifestyle photojournalism when it hit me that there are so many stories waiting to be told and film can be such a great medium to tell these stories. I began writing scripts and was hired as a development executive and scriptwriter in a production house and I continued writing for 5-6 years. But having a keen eye for visual, I wanted to direct. I directed a couple of shorts under my company and was offered to direct a feature as well but unfortunately we lost funding. I was a bit lost, but then I decided to pursue my master's at London Film Academy. During my master's, I realised I had a natural talent for producing and I ended up producing an indie feature film that is currently in post-production. I also worked on a couple of shorts as a director and producer. I have recently directed a vertical series as well and I wish to share my learnings with everyone I can. I believe that by sharing knowledge, I can make a difference. I love teaching and would love to teach students interested in learning how to just go ahead and make a film. Even if that means making it on a phone.

I am offering Filmmaking foundation lessons. My approach is quite practical. I provide practical approaches and give examples from my own experience to make learning an easy and enjoyable process.
These lessons are for complete newbies to mid-level creatives. Each lesson will be 1 hour long- which will be divided in three parts- setup and intro to a subject, an exercise to follow and time for queries.
Topics that I will cover will be 1. How to find an idea 2. Development of the idea 3. Basics of scriptwriting 4. Pre-production 5. Production basics 6. Post-production & Festivals
