About Jon
I have always enjoyed helping people learn, even when I was in high school i helped a friend go from failing their chemistry exam to gaining a B in higher chemistry. I was training to be a teacher when I realised that large scale teaching was not for me, although i still enjoying teaching one to one and still gained valuable experience teaching classes. I have had experience tutoring and felt that it was really beneficial to the student. I have also had experience preparing material and handouts.

Currently a final year university student with the hopes of continuing on to do a PhD. Very passionate about education and wider communication in science. Have had some experience teaching and tutoring and really enjoy helping people learn. I want to be able to engage with potential students and find out how they learn best and will try and tailor my tutoring accordingly. Whether it's basic help or more in depth help before an exam I will aim to be as helpful as possible. I am flexible on the times I will be available and will do my best to fit around your schedule. I am also willing to in my own time, mark practice questions if you find that helps you with revision. I will also make up example questions and answers for you to keep along with other resources and handouts.
