About Kaitlyn
With 5 years of tutoring experience and currently in my final year of an education degree, I’m passionate about helping students succeed in English from Grades 1 through post-secondary. I bring a professional, patient, and personalized approach to every lesson, adapting to each learner’s unique needs. My background in special education and teaching practicums ensures I provide clear, supportive guidance that builds both skills and confidence. Outside of tutoring, I love art and spending time outdoors, which helps me bring creativity and energy into my teaching. I’m dedicated to making learning enjoyable and effective for every student.

My teaching approach focuses on personalized, student-centered learning. I use a mix of direct instruction, guided practice, and interactive activities to keep lessons engaging and effective. Each session typically begins with a review of previous material, followed by new concepts tailored to the student’s needs and goals, and ends with practice and feedback.
What sets me apart is my background in special education and hands-on teaching experience across Grades 1–12 and post-secondary levels. I adapt lessons to different learning styles and abilities, ensuring every student feels supported and confident.
I work with learners from elementary through post-secondary education, including those who benefit from special education strategies or need extra support to succeed.
