About Shamietha
Hi, everyone! My name is Shamietha Satisvaran, I am a 24-year-old final year medical student (MBBS) from IMU, Malaysia. Besides being interested in Medicine and English, I have a passion for science, dancing, canvas painting, makeup, fashion. When it comes to teaching, my aim is to ensure students understand and enjoy what they learn, instead of resenting it.

Having completed the IGCSE curriculum myself, my academic background syllabus allows me to understand the syllabus and the exam structure and my passion for teaching will allow me to provide classes according to the syllabus, exams and overcoming common challenges students face during the exams which allows me to understand the syllabus and exam structure and therefore the common challenges student face. My goal is to ensure students build strong conceptual understanding, improve exam techniques, and gain confidence while making learning enjoyable rather than stressful.
As a final year medical student who will be graduating as a doctor soon, Biology is a fundamental subject so this gives me more credibility and familiarity with the subject.
Format of lessons: Online (e.g: Zoom, Google Meet)
Each class will be conducted for 1-1.5 hours depending on students' preferences
Who Do I Teach?
- IGCSE students from Year 7 - 11
- Cambridge students from Year 5 onwards
- Medical students from Year 1 to Year 5
- Ages: Students aged 10 years and above
My Qualifications
- Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from 2021-2026 in IMU, Malaysia
- Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) in 2019 in Sunway University, KL.
- Cambridge IGCSE from 2014-2018 in Regent International School, Klang.

- 2019: Private one-on-one IGCSE tutor (Year 7 Mathematics & Biology)
