About Engy
Hello, my name is Engy, and I am a final year medical student, close to graduating as a doctor. Through my degree, I have gained valuable NHS placement experience, strengthening both my scientific knowledge and communication skills.
I have around 4-5 years of tutoring experience teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at primary and GCSE level, as well as AS and A-Level Biology. I have also worked in schools and have experience tutoring students with SEND, allowing me to adapt lessons to different learning styles and abilities.

My teaching style is interactive and supportive, focusing on building both confidence and understanding. In the first few lessons, I carry out baseline assessments to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Lessons usually involve working through topics together, using questions throughout to keep students engaged, followed by exam-style or past paper questions to consolidate learning. I also set tailored homework and monitor progress regularly to support steady improvement.
