About Jagger
I am in my final year at Nottingham University studying Modern Languages (Spanish and Russian). I have just spent a year abroad in Argentina and Russia, where I gained a better level of fluency in Spanish and Russian. In Argentina I worked as a Language Facilitator in various English Language Institutes, where I planned and carried out one-on-one conversation sessions to develop students' verbal communication. Having lived in Argentina, I can teach you some of the differences between Castilian and South American Spanish.
I love to use up-to-date, fun resources - articles and videos are almost always a more fun and useful method of vocab acquisition than textbooks written in 1995! Interactive methods help me the most, I like to use games and activities that keep me on my toes. Of course, regular grammar work is very important and I encourage regular grammar exercises to really drill it in. As a student of languages I understand how hard it can be to master difficult grammar and have the confidence to speak a new language.
Language learning is a lifelong journey and is lots of fun (most of the time!). I'd love to help you build the foundations for your language journey!
