About Mimi
I am a final-year BSc Psychology student at University College London (UCL), with a strong academic background in GCSE & IB Higher Level Psychology and Biology, alongside practical experience in psychological research and clinics.
Having experienced the demands of both the IB Diploma Programme and university-level Psychology, I understand the importance of effective study techniques, exam preparation and developing confidence in challenging subjects.
My previous tutoring experience has allowed me to put this understanding into practice, successfully supporting a student in improving from grades 3–4 to grades 6–7.
I pride myself on being patient, responsive, approachable and committed to each student's progress. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, overcoming challenges and working towards their academic goals.

Having previously helped GCSE psychology students improve from grades 3–4 to grades 6–7, I understand the importance of tailoring lessons to each student's individual needs. My goal is not only to improve grades, but also to build confidence, strengthen exam skills and develop a genuine understanding of Psychology.
My approach is personalised, engaging and evidence-based, combining:
- Clear, broken down explanations of complex psychological concepts and research.
- Proven learning techniques, including active recall, spaced repetition and practice questions.
- Targeted exam preparation, essay-writing strategies and critical evaluation skills.
- Past-paper practice, mark scheme guidance and constructive feedback to maximise marks.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, with longer sessions available upon request. Each session is tailored to your goals, whether you're aiming for top grades, preparing for exams or struggling with particular topics.
I offer online GCSE and IB Psychology tutoring (SL and HL), combining academic expertise, effective teaching strategies and a supportive learning environment to help you achieve your potential.
