About Fay
I’m Fay, a final year student in Edinburgh. English was my favourite subject at school, and while I now study history, I still love reading. My own experience with entrance exams, as well as that of my friends and past pupils, has shown me that it can be daunting. I hope to make it more accessible during our sessions, as well as improve confidence. The above point also goes for pupils who simply want support for their prep, or class work.

After assessing skills, we will focus on a combination of areas for improvement, and also what the pupil feels needs work. I think it’s important that the sessions are student led. I have experience with 11+ preparation, and draw from past papers to hone skills. I like to assign a short prep, and will provide explanation and instruction notes as needed. For more generalised support, I will assess and discuss with the student skills which need honing. We will then work independently, as well as from their class work.
