About Oadira
I am currently doing my final year of my commerce degree. I matriculated in 2015 with Mathematics and Physical Scienes as some of my subjects. I tutored math extra lessons at my alma mater and went on to do private tutoring from 2016 to present. I have tutored scholars from NCS, IEB and Cambridge institutions and I have tutored all grades from 6-12 thus far.

My teaching method begins with a quick recap of the particular topic which was taught in class. This determines where the strong points and the areas which need a little attention. I then proceed to do a few step by step examples with the learner and explain the concepts and link that with the content in the textbook with real life examples where applicable. I then let the learner do a few questions independently to assess improvement from before the lesson. We then correct the work and assess progress made. If satisfactory, I will give the learner homework to consolidate. If not, we will go through the work again, with the aid of interactive tools such as videos and other tools. I assess students at the end of every topic/unit and I provide feedback to the parents in terms of the initial goals we've set. I also keep a record of all work and homework done in session to do due diligence on my part as well as ensure an improvement on school results.
