About RF

I am a friendly, patient and approachable Maths tutor with a degree in Accounting and Finance and a strong academic background in Mathematics.

Having applied mathematical skills throughout my degree and professional career, I understand the importance of developing strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

I enjoy helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed in Maths with the right guidance, encouragement and teaching approach.

My aim is to make learning enjoyable, straightforward and rewarding while helping students reach their full potential.

About the lesson

My Maths lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, whether you’re looking to improve your grades, build confidence or strengthen your understanding of key topics.

I focus on breaking down difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps, making Maths easier to understand and more enjoyable to learn.

Lessons are interactive, engaging and delivered at a pace that suits you. I cover everything from basic Maths to GCSE level, including exam preparation, past paper practice and problem-solving techniques.

My aim is to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing the confidence to succeed independently.

Daniel

My name is Daniel Davidson-Soler, I am 16 years old, and I have known Rafe for around three years. I first met him through cricket, and since then he has always been a great role model to me. He is a very kind, helpful and intelligent person who has taught me some valuable lessons in life.

Whenever I see Rafe, he always greets me politely and makes me feel welcome. He is very respectful towards others and always asks if there is anything he can do to help. I really respect him because he is someone who treats everyone nicely and is always willing to help people when they need it.

From my experience of knowing him through cricket, I would definitely recommend Rafe to other students looking for a Maths tutor. I believe he would be a great teacher because he is helpful, respectful and someone people can look up to. I am grateful to have met him.
