About Farah
Hi, I'm Farah — a finance professional with 4+ years of real-world experience, a CFA Level III Candidate, and a passionate educator who loves making finance approachable for everyone.
My career spans roles at S&P Global, where I built financial models and delivered investment research for global institutional clients, and as a Finance Officer managing budgets and financial reporting for large-scale engineering projects. Along the way, I discovered my love for mentoring and teaching — and I haven't looked back since.
I hold an MBA in Finance with a perfect 4.0 GPA and a Dean's Honor List distinction, and I bring that same dedication and rigor to every tutoring session.
My teaching style is patient, practical, and always rooted in real-world context. I believe finance becomes truly meaningful when it connects to real markets, real decisions, and real life. Whether you are just starting out or looking to deepen your understanding, I tailor every session to your pace and your goals.

Before diving into any topic, I take the time to understand where you are right now: your background, your goals, what's clicking and what isn't. From there, I put together a personalized plan that's built around you.
My sessions blend concept explanation with real-world examples drawn from my own professional experience in financial analysis and investment research. Finance can feel very abstract on paper, so I always try to ground it in something tangible — something you can actually picture and relate to. We then reinforce understanding through practice, because real confidence comes from doing, not just listening.
I keep sessions structured but relaxed. I encourage questions at every step, and I never move on until you feel comfortable. No rushing, no jargon, no judgment — just clear, honest teaching at a pace that works for you.
By the end of each session, my goal is simple: I want you to leave feeling more confident, clearer on the concepts, and genuinely motivated to keep going.
