Hi I'm Fiona, an Australian trained teacher. My specialism is in History, but I have tutored and also taught Maths and English in the past. I am also able to tutor in Geography, which is my second specialisation.
I have been in the UK for 3 years teaching. I have taught all secondary age groups, and tutored A level History with one student for a few months leading up to final exams. I teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 History.
As I am a teacher, I understand the pressure that comes along with GCSEs and A levels. I am experienced in giving direction and guidance to students, giving study tips and techniques, as well as being able to give them enough to get them on track to achieve the best they possibly can!
I enjoy teaching, and think that learning should be fun, as it makes it not only more interesting, but a better way to retain what you need for those dreaded exams!
