About Amelia
I achieved A* in both GCSE and A-Level English and went on to graduate with First-Class Honours from a top Russell Group university. I currently work in secondary education and have experience teaching reading comprehension lessons. Alongside this, I have worked as a copywriter and regularly write for a magazine, further developing my skills in language, clarity, and communication. I also have extensive experience publishing my own creative writing with reputable organisations such as The Royal Literary Society and Young Writers UK. Working in a school has been incredibly rewarding, and it has strengthened my desire to help students reach their full potential. I’m passionate about making English engaging and accessible, and I want to inspire confidence in every student I teach.

My sessions focus on developing confidence, tackling weaknesses and equipping students with the skills they need to excel in exams, utilising the techniques that secured me an A* at both GCSE and A Level English. I approach English with a genuine passion, and ensure my lessons are flexible, engaging, and tailored to what works best for you.
