About Kate
I’m a singer/songwriter with a high degree of knowledge in music theory, and vocal training. I have performed in theatre, choirs, orchestras, and live gigs around the country. I have much experience in performing and teaching most genres of music from classical to pop. I have performed in a wedding band and wedding ensembles. I can teach anything from leaving certificate music (including practical) to performing in a live venue.

For vocal lessons, the process will be unique to each individual as each voice is unique. I will work out ways to gain more confidence both on and off stage, great breath management, control, resonance among many other things by introducing different exercises and techniques whilst ensuring that the student is having fun!
For teaching music theory (written and aural), I will have slides to produce every week with the most understanding of knowledge on each topic and I will require little bits of homework to be done with each week. Aural training will be of great importance! If the student requires help with the practical, I am more than happy to do so.
