About Amelia
Hello! I'm a recent Bar Course graduate, having achieved Outstanding, and I hold an LLB Law degree from the University of Sheffield. I'm also a member of the Honourable Society of Middle Temple and currently based in Leeds. My journey to becoming a barrister has taught me the value of consistent support and the freedom to ask questions—no matter how small they may seem. Having faced my own academic challenges, particularly during university, I understand how crucial it is to have someone approachable, patient, and relatable by your side. I offer tailored tutoring for law students of all levels, with a focus on creating a supportive and engaging environment. Whether you're preparing for your LLB exams, tackling essay writing, or navigating the Bar Course, I'm here to help you feel confident, heard, and equipped to succeed.

I offer a personalised teaching method to suit each students individual needs. I believe the best style of teaching comes from applying the facts learnt to real life situations, so throughout all my lessons I will strive to do this. I recommend an hours lesson to ensure content can be covered alongside answering questions and going over work that is required.
I was a awarded the Vaughan Bevan memorial prize from my University for achieving the best LLB Law mark that year. I have experience in tutoring students applying to study law at University and have provided 'taster law' classes to A level students via Zoom.
I provide tutoring for GCSE and A level law. This includes any content students are struggling with, or help with applications for studying law at University. Furthermore I provide tutoring for University level law, however I am unable to tutor on some modules that I have covered myself (ie employment law, competition law).
