About Jack

I like to approach tutoring at the level the individual understands. We all learn at different rates and in different ways, so my priority is understanding what you want to achieve and the best way to get there. I have used different methods with different students, but once we find what works, it has always led to success.

Outside of specific material, I have also helped guide students on how to write essays, structure lab reports, and apply to university programmes, including medicine.

My lessons are focused on what you specifically need to know. I start each student with a free 15-minute meeting to discuss what they want help with and the topics they would like to cover.

Normal sessions are 1 hour long and include teaching, questioning to ensure your understanding, and time at the end to recap and discuss the following sessions to keep the flow of teaching consistent.

I have helped students in late-stage high school, as well as first- and second-year university students in the health science and medical science fields.

I graduated with an MSci degree in Exercise and Health Science with first-class honours, with my recent work being towards a PhD.
