Hello! My name is Shadrack, and I am a passionate educator, native Swahili speaker, and university-trained linguist based in Nairobi.
What sets me apart as an educator is my dual expertise in modern pedagogy and educational technology. I operate as a facilitator rather than a traditional lecturer, meaning I focus on guiding learners toward genuine fluency and comprehension rather than outdated rote memorization. Additionally, my strong background in IT and digital literacy ensures that my online teaching spaces run flawlessly.

My Approach and Methodology:
My teaching philosophy moves away from rote memorization. Instead, I focus on practical, conversational fluency and cultural context. I run a highly interactive, digital-first classroom. For online students, I utilize a high-definition webcam, interactive screen-sharing as well as custom digital flashcards to ensure zero communication barriers. Whether we are covering basic vocabulary or complex syntax, I break down concepts into relatable, real-world examples.
My Qualifications & Experience:
As a native Swahili speaker and a university-trained linguist actively facilitating the modern CBC curriculum in Nairobi, I bring both authentic language mastery and professional pedagogical skills to every lesson.

1. International/Expatriate Students: Tailored Kiswahili as a first Language to help learners integrate smoothly into the Kenyan curriculum and daily life.
2. CBC Learners (Primary & Junior Secondary): Academic support for students struggling with grammar, comprehension, or Fasihi (Literature).

Lesson Structure:
A typical session lasts 60 minutes. We will always start by reviewing previous concepts to iron out any difficulties before introducing new material. I constantly follow up on your progress, ensuring our pace matches your specific learning style.
