About Amal
Hi! My name is Amal, and I have recently enrolled in King's College London to study medicine. I achieved an A* and a provincial distinction in IGCSE Chemistry and an A* in A-level Chemistry, and I hope I can be of some help to anyone struggling with chemistry at any level leading up to (and at) A-level. Whether you learn better by actively solving questions and making mistakes, or by seeing a different methodology being used to assess how to tackle problems in a way that's right for you, together we can figure out what works and try to improve your confidence in your chemistry knowledge.

As someone who has recently completed A-level chemistry, I understand how certain topics in the subject can be hard to grasp. Having a strong foundation is especially important to do well in chemistry, and so working together with the tutee to gauge the level of their understanding is my initial priority. Once we know where they stand, we can work on clearing up any misconceptions so that they can problem solve more efficiently. I hope to be able to achieve this using skills I have gained over years of being a TA for various subjects around school. Each lesson can be from 30 minutes to an hour and a half, and I can teach up to A-level content, but preferably up to GCSEs.
