About Léa

Throughout my studies, I have developed strong skills in literary subjects, which allowed me to enter IHEID last fall. At the age of fourteen, I participated in a volunteer support programme organised by my high school, where I gave tutoring and reading assistance to children in the primary school of our Saint-Louis-Saint-Bruno school group. I was also a trainee guide and workshop leader at the Archéosite de Montbazon, where my role was to teach non-French speaking visitors about life in the Middle Ages.

Having had the opportunity to travel and live abroad has not only helped me to improve my English, but also to acquire a certain autonomy and adaptability. In February 2020, I obtained the TOEFL certificate with a score of 104/120 during an Erasmus year at the Anglo-American University in Prague.
I also regularly translate from English to French as an amateur, and write in all its forms. Some of my articles have already been published in my school newspapers.

About the lesson

I try to best adapt my pedagogy to my student and his needs. Also, I like to devote the first session to an interview to determine the strengths, weaknesses, levels and objectives of my interlocutor. This allows me to set up a personalized teaching plan that will help him progress, and plan the sessions according to the number of hours of lessons planned.

I am able to give courses in History, historiography, historical methodology, as well as courses in geography and cartography. Whether it is to introduce these disciplines to the youngest or to dust off the knowledge of an adult, it is with pleasure that I pass on to you the knowledge accumulated over the course of my studies.

Classes take place at my home, by webcam, or at your place.
