About Nicole
I know firsthand how challenging GCSEs and A Levels can be—not just academically, but emotionally too. During my GCSEs, I faced personal difficulties, including grief, yet I persevered and achieved an average grade of 7.5, including an 8 in English Literature and 7 in English Language. As a child of foreign parents, I understand what it feels like to work extra hard to master complex subjects and develop strong language skills. This experience means I can offer unique strategies and advice to help students succeed, even if English isn’t their first language or they feel under pressure. Having recently completed my A Levels, I have a fresh perspective on the current syllabus and know exactly what works when it comes to revising effectively, tackling exam questions, and staying motivated.

My teaching style is centred around making complex concepts simple, clear, and relatable. Having recently completed my A Levels myself, I understand the challenges students face and can explain topics in a fresh, student-friendly way that resonates with younger learners. I focus on breaking down difficult ideas into manageable steps, using real-life examples and visual aids to make learning engaging and memorable. I strongly believe in an empathetic and supportive approach. Since I have experienced the stress and pressure of A Levels, I can reassure and guide students through both the academic and emotional aspects of their studies.
