About Kim
"Teaching languages is rarely about memorizing endless lists of words or dry grammar charts. I find that real fluency emerges when you navigate the cultural context of Latin American versus Castilian variants through active listening practice.
My 4 years of professional experience, coupled with my conservatory degree, mean I approach language with the same discipline I apply to musical phrasing. Verb conjugation and vocabulary building become secondary to the goal of genuine conversational fluency. Working with a diverse group of over 101 students has taught me how to adjust my approach to keep things intuitive and clear.
