About Awais
I am a native Urdu speaker currently working at the University of Aberdeen, with experience supporting and teaching students from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds. I have developed strong skills in explaining complex ideas in a simple and structured way, which I apply in my language teaching. I am passionate about helping learners connect with the Urdu language in a meaningful and practical way, focusing on fluency, confidence, and real-life communication.

I offer personalised online Urdu lessons as a native Urdu speaker with experience working at the University of Aberdeen. My lessons are designed to help learners develop strong communication skills in Urdu, whether they are beginners or looking to improve fluency and confidence.
My teaching approach is student-centred, meaning each lesson is adapted to your individual goals, level, and learning style. I focus on making Urdu easy, practical, and enjoyable to learn through real-life conversation, structured practice, and interactive activities.
My lessons cover:
Spoken Urdu and everyday conversation
Reading and writing skills
Vocabulary building and sentence formation
Grammar explained in a simple and practical way
Cultural context to help you understand natural usage
