About Ann
I am a dedicated Singing tutor with 6 years of experience, having taught 150–200 students of all ages and skill levels. My teaching philosophy emphasises personalised learning, designing lessons to match each student’s strengths, goals, and learning pace. I strive to make lessons both engaging and effective, fostering skill, confidence, and creativity. In my lessons, students focus on breath control, pitch, tone, rhythm, and performance techniques. I integrate structured exercises with creative and interactive practices to enhance musicality, artistry, and self-expression. Students not only develop technical proficiency but also build confidence and stage presence. Known for my patience, empathy, and encouraging approach, I create a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to experiment, take risks, and grow. My mission is to help students discover their unique voice, achieve their personal milestones, and develop a lifelong love for singing.

My Singing teaching strategy follows a gentle and supportive path. I use a flexible method that adapts lessons according to the student’s comfort level, age, and musical interests. Empathy allows me to understand emotional challenges such as stage fear or self-doubt. I teach with compassion and patience, helping students gain confidence step by step. Communication is simple and easy to follow. I explain breathing techniques, pitch correction, tone shaping, and expression using clear examples. I encourage open discussion so students feel comfortable asking questions. Collaboration plays an important role in my lessons. I involve students in choosing songs, planning practice routines, and setting realistic goals. In addition to Singing, I teach supportive subjects such as rhythm basics, pronunciation, ear training, and performance confidence.
