Flute and piccolo player with experience in classical, jazz, folk and funk music along with improvisation experience. Has a bachelors degree in Flute Performance from the DePaul School of Music.

I was very nervous about starting flute lessons, but Kaya made me feel so relaxed and safe. She explained concepts in ways I could easily understand, and she really made the whole learning experience fun! I’ve only been working with her for a month or so, but I feel like I sound much better and my playing feels more relaxed. I can’t recommend Kaya enough!
