About Tayara
With 12 years of teaching and professional music experience, I am a committed Piano tutor who enjoys guiding students through every stage of learning. I teach piano to school and college students and focus on creating lessons that are clear, enjoyable, and motivating.
A significant milestone in my career was developing personalised lesson plans that help students learn at their own pace. This approach has helped learners of all levels build skill and confidence steadily without feeling overwhelmed.
My lessons cover posture, finger technique, rhythm, music reading, and musical expression. I also introduce basic music theory to help students understand and connect with the music they play.
I believe piano learning nurtures creativity, focus, discipline, and emotional expression. Music education helps students develop self-confidence and a sense of accomplishment that extends beyond their piano studies.
My teaching style is friendly, structured, and encouraging. I guide students step by step, celebrating each improvement along the way. My aim is to inspire students to enjoy piano learning and to continue growing as confident, capable musicians.

My piano teaching approach is comprehensive, mentorship-driven, and student-focused, designed to nurture both technical proficiency and creative expression. I emphasise communication, ensuring students clearly understand musical concepts, hand techniques, rhythm, and theory, and can apply them effectively in practice and performance. Lessons are personalised to the student’s learning style to make learning interactive, engaging, and effective for all levels.
I incorporate real-life examples and case studies, such as performing favourite songs, exploring classical works, and demonstrating music’s application in films and everyday life. Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, ear training, improvisation, composition, and performance preparation, providing students with a comprehensive musical foundation. My methodology encourages creativity, technical mastery, performance confidence, and a lifelong passion for music, helping students grow into expressive, confident, and skilled pianists.
