About Anna

Hi, I’m Anna! I have more than two years of professional tutoring experience with C2 Education, where I worked with high school students preparing for both the Math and Reading and Writing sections of the SAT. I have also tutored students independently in math and academic subjects.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering, which strengthened my analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. My experience tutoring both quantitative and verbal subjects has taught me how to break down challenging material clearly and adapt my explanations to different learning styles.

I am patient, dependable, and committed to creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I take each student’s goals seriously and come to lessons prepared, organized, and ready to help them make steady progress. My aim is not only to improve SAT performance, but also to help students become more confident and thoughtful problem-solvers.

About the lesson

My SAT lessons are personalized to each student’s strengths, goals, and learning style. I help students prepare for both the Math and Reading and Writing sections of the digital SAT, with an emphasis on building genuine understanding, improving test-taking strategy, and increasing confidence.

I typically begin by reviewing the student’s previous scores or using a diagnostic test to identify their strongest areas and the skills that need the most attention. From there, I create a focused plan rather than treating every student as though they need the same instruction. Lessons may include concept review, guided practice, timed questions, pacing strategies, and a detailed review of missed or uncertain answers.

I encourage students to explain their reasoning so I can understand how they think and identify exactly where confusion begins. Rather than simply showing the correct answer, I break problems down in different ways until the student finds an approach that makes sense to them. We also look for patterns in mistakes so students can avoid repeating them and become more independent over time.

My lessons are designed for high school students preparing for the digital SAT, whether they are taking the test for the first time, working toward a specific score increase, or strengthening one particular section. I use current SAT-style practice materials and adapt each session to the student’s pace, test date, and individual goals.
