About Andrew
I have been tutoring up to the tertiary level since 2005, and I have also taught Math and the Sciences at four prominent high schools in the beautiful island of Jamaica. I obtained a BSc in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Barry University (Miami Shores, FL) My first teaching post was in 2011 my last in 2022.

I love putting myself in the place of my students, and approaching our sessions as a study group with me at the helm. I have two underlying philosophies based on two principles outlined by Marcus Garvey, "What man has done once man can do again" which I interpret as whatever knowledge has been arrived at before through deduction by any other mathematician or scientist throughout history, me and my study 'peers' with enough time and diligence can deduce or at least understand and learn said concepts within reason. That may seem lofty however the second principle of Garvey that I employ is, "Without confidence we are twice defeated in this race called life." That second precept is what I use as the foundation of my confidence needed to tackle any concept or idea I seek to explain or break down with my students and thus impart the confidence I have to them in turn which is the ultimate goal. Honestly I am comfortable tutoring primary, secondary and tertiary level and welcome any opportunity to share and impart knowledge and learning/study strategies.
