About Astrid

Math teacher at ORT High School for 5 years. At the institution I worked with courses under my charge, as well as helping other teachers and working with students with difficulties.
Private math teacher for 2 years.
Math teacher in English for tests in the United States such as the SAT. In a private institute, I prepared students to take the necessary exams to enter universities in the United States with the necessary scores for the scholarships to be possible.
Student of the Degree in Mathematics at the UBA.

About the lesson

I am a mathematics teacher mainly for secondary and high school level. I enjoy explaining and I always have the patience to repeat everything as many times as necessary.
I think mathematics get a bad rep because people do not understand it and have had bad teachers or bad experiences.
No one is bad at math and everyone can learn !!
My goal is to help you lose your fear of it and make you feel confident in solving any problem or test that comes your way. I am always ready to answer questions, help summarize the topics and evaluate what kind of exercises will appear in the school evaluations.
Sometimes we all need a little help and there is no shame in asking for it. I hope you want to learn and that you allow me to get rid of your fear of the subject.
I hope that after a few lessons you can appreciate what you learned and feel more comfortable applying the concepts to the different areas. In general, I prefer that you solve the exercises only in your free time and that we see together the doubts you have or review the issues that you are not clear about. In general, I can give some tricks to solve things in easier or more direct ways than seen in class. As well as ways so that you can tell only if the exercise is okay or not. I like that they ask me questions and that we can talk in the class clearly and concisely about our expectations with the private lessons.
