About Erin
I taught high school science for 6 years as well as a few years in kindergarten and currently work in a middle school as a school counselor. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education & Middle School Science and a master's degree in School Counseling. I have also taught Health classes during summer school. I am able to help with basic middle school science material, biology concepts as well as basic school success skills and social emotional wellness as well. I can also provide assistance with elementary school aged students in science.

I like to help students make real world connections to their learning. Within content teaching, I also like to provide general tips for study skills, organization and time management. I like my students to feel comfortable stepping outside their comfort zone and to ask questions when they are stuck, confused, or just plain curious. I am able to give general science help to middle school students and more specific biology help to high school students. I have a lot of background in anatomy and marine biology concepts as well.
