About Mariana
I graduated from FAU with a bachelor's degree in linguistics and a minor in Spanish. I have about eight years of experience teaching Spanish at a high school level. I have experience working with native speakers and no-speaker students while preparing them for college-level classes. I have taught conversational Spanish to adults to help them improve their everyday interaction with Spanish speakers.

As a Spanish teacher, my approach is centered around making the language accessible and enjoyable for every student. I believe that learning a new language should be an engaging and rewarding experience, and I strive to create an open and welcoming environment where my students feel comfortable practicing their skills.
I am committed to meeting each student's individual needs and learning goals. I understand that every student has different strengths and challenges, and I work closely with them to help them reach their full potential. Whether a student is looking to improve their Spanish for academic or professional reasons or simply for personal growth and enrichment, I am dedicated to helping them succeed.
My lessons are open to students of all levels, from beginner to advanced. I have experience teaching Spanish to students at the high school level, as well as adults who are interested in learning the language for personal reasons. Additionally, I can tailor my lessons to meet specific needs or interests, such as preparing for an exam or focusing on a particular area of the language, such as business Spanish or travel Spanish.
