About Katelynn
I am a former educator who spent 3 years teaching Kindergarten, 1 year teaching 1st grade, and 1 year teaching middle school science. I have a Bachelor's Degree in History and a Master's Degree in PreK-6 education. I am a certified educator with endorsements in ELL and ample work with SPED students, ELL students, and gifted students. I currently work in nonprofit fundraising at a K-12 school, however, my love for education has never left. I enjoy reading, baking, and music in my spare time!

I am a hands on educator who focuses on the needs of the child in each lesson and subject to find what works best for them. In an average session I will review previous content, introduce new concepts with engaging strategies to help the student take an interest in the topic, review with some practice questions, and then leave time for questions. I specialize in lower elementary grades (PreK-3), but am certified to teach through 6th grade.
