About Natalie
I have worked in education for over 10 years in various roles, and I have a passion for teaching science. I completed my undergrad degree at Syracuse University, and my master's degree at the University of Central Florida. I am certified in Earth-Space Science, Agricultural Science, and Biology for grades 6-12. I am also certified in Reading and ESOL for grades K-12. A new teacher mentor, department chair, testing committee member, and former teacher of the year, I have spent years honing my ability to help students find success.

A dynamic and technologically literate teacher, I like to involve students in the conversation. Instead of typical lecturing, I prefer to be a guide to my students. Technology is a useful tool for both students and teachers, and I use it often. Middle and high school students learn better when they can take ownership over their work, and that is my plan as an educator. Guided notes, study guides, games, and low-stakes quizzes are some of my favorite methods of teaching. Students in middle and high school can benefit from my science lessons.
