Hi, I’m Mpho! As a short but enthusiastic B.Ed. Foundation Phase graduate, I bring energy, passion, and fun to my online tutoring sessions in English, Math, Sesotho, and Life Skills. My lessons are designed to make learning interactive and enjoyable, helping students feel confident and motivated. I create a relaxed environment where every student gets the attention they need to succeed. About the lesson

As a B.Ed. Foundation Phase graduate from the University of the Free State, my approach to tutoring is learner-centered, calm, and encouraging. I believe in creating a relaxed and supportive environment where young learners feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow confidently. My lessons are interactive and tailored to each child’s unique needs, learning pace, and strengths. What makes me unique as a teacher is my ability to connect with young learners through patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for teaching. I aim to make each session enjoyable and meaningful, using a variety of methods such as visual aids, practical examples, and age-appropriate activities. I am proficient in both English and Sesotho, and I’m able to teach in either language depending on the learner’s preference or home language. In a typical lesson, students can expect a structured yet flexible session that includes a quick review, a focused lesson on the topic, practice activities, and time for questions. I provide regular feedback and gentle guidance to build confidence and understanding. My lessons are aimed at Foundation Phase learners (Grades R–3) who need support in English, Mathematics, Sesotho, or Life Skills—whether they’re struggling to keep up, need help with homework, or want to strengthen their understanding.
