About Megan
My name is Megan Petersen. I am 25 years old. I live in Beaufort West. I have been teaching at a local primary school for the past 3 years.
I have also been tutoring a boy for the past 2 years since he was grade 3.
The love I have for teaching mostly stems from seeing my younger cousins and helping them with homework. To see the happiness in that child's eyes when he/she understands something is what keeps me going.
I strive to be the best teacher for the child that is in front of me. And for that I am still learning, and striving to be better.

I believe in a playful approach towards learning. Routines is also very important and being on time and structured.
I have been teaching Grade1-3 for the past 3 years English medium. But I am also equipped to teach in Afrikaans as it is my home language.
Teaching on the level of the child is also priority. Seeing what the learners interests are to build on that, so that learning can become more appealing to them.
