About Lily
My name is Lily, I am currently a Fourth year Law student. I have always found English and other English-based subjects to be my strength - I have great spelling, punctuation and general literacy skills.
In High School I maintained Excellence in English-based papers, such as English, Legal Studies, History and Classics. Being a Law student, I am well-versed in structuring and writing successful essays - I would love to help you develop this skill.
Though you may not plan to 'use' English in your future (whether that be at University, or in work) it helps improve other general skills such as critical thinking and analysis that both lecturers and employers value greatly.

I am a Fourth-Year Law student who understands the importance of well-developed English reading and writing skills.
Length of lessons is flexible, but I believe 2 hours is optimal time for teaching, practice and discussion. With that being said, a focus of my tutoring is working through practice questions and past exam papers in order to best understand the application of the skills being learnt. The best way to learn is through practice.
I offer tutoring for any High School Year level, with emphasis placed on NCEA and exam preparation.
I can offer tutoring online (via Zoom) or in person, or a combination of both.
