About Melisa
Hi! I am Melisa and I’m a fourth year medical student at the University of Edinburgh in university. To get here, I had to put in a lot of effort but rarely felt supported and at times even felt as though I was not sure how or what to study. This was especially because neither of my parents had had the opportunity to access higher education. So, I want to be able to help people who might feel as lost as I once did to be more confident and comfortable with both maths and biology. I’d like to be part of your academic support. Of course, I also aim to maintain reasonable prices to remain accessible.

My lessons would be structured specifically around your needs and you would be able to steer the direction our lessons go in. We would mainly solve questions (especially focusing on past paper questions) and I would walk you through any topics that may feel challenging. GCSEs and A levels can be quite stressful and difficult to prepare for but hopefully I could help your workload feel a bit easier to handle. As for my qualifications, I received all A*s in my GCSEs and A levels, which included Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Psychology, and Welsh bacc. Feel free to contact me with any queries!
