About Ava
"Effective communication requires unlearning the habit of overthinking every single word. Most learners focus too much on grammar rules rather than the intent of the message. I use my 10 years of experience to prioritize speaking confidence and TOEFL readiness above rote memorization.
Whether we are polishing your presentation delivery or sharpening your writing skills, the focus remains on functional clarity. My BA from the U of T informs the technical side of our sessions while my CELTA training keeps the delivery accessible. I integrate a variety of exercises to ensure you feel prepared for any testing scenario. We will keep the pace steady and the feedback honest throughout our time together."
