About Matthew
I am creative, attentive and flexible. I love teaching languages, especially French. I am currently the department head at a local International school that specializes in French. I love my day job but I always look forward to meeting with students after school one on one to help them stay ahead of the curve.
My favorite part of tutoring is witnessing the lightbulb moment. There’s nothing like helping someone realize they had the answer all along, they just needed to see it from a different angle!

I am flexible, creative, attentive and know how to get the best of my students. Some seek a challenge and other want a cool, fun environment. Either way I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
I love to get to know some things about my students so we can connect you to your lessons. We speak up to date French, but I also like to teach the basics of grammar and syntax, while also focusing on reading. I also recommend supplementing with some TV shows, music, and online help. If you are doing only 1 hr/day, you are not going to learn the language as quickly!
