About Latha
I studied French for 7 years in school. The first three years in Delhi where I learned the grammar and vocabulary and then 4 years in Prague, where I completed the International Baccalaureate in French (scored 6/7) and also learned the cultural side of the language. I have read and analyzed novels in French. I have also worked for a French company, Michelin, for two and a half years where I used to communicate in French. I have also passed the DELF B1 French Level after having completed the B1 course from Alliance Francaise de Pune.
With English being my first language, I learned French from scratch and so I know the difficulties you may face while learning the language. My intention with teaching French is to provide a solid foundation in grammar and vocabulary and at the same time help you converse as a native French.

I prefer to teach through a series of powerpoint slides where the basic theory is explained and understood. I always prepare some exercises for students in order to asses their understanding. My objective is also to have the student to start speaking in French from the beginner's level itself. So every class usually ends with a conversation or questions in French and the student is encouraged to speak in French.
Course Structure depends on the level of French being taught. Beginner Level can be taught in 2 months whereas B1 level would require at least 3- 4 months.
Assessments are given once the student feels confident and I prefer to give assessments at least 2 weeks into the course.
