About Sylvie

With more than twenty years’ experience as a Foreign Language Teacher, my job has afforded me a well-rounded skill set including improving test scores and exam results and cultivating positive relationships with my students. I am always enthusiastic in helping students advance their understanding of French and Spanish language and culture.

About the lesson

My name is Sylvie and I am French. In my teaching career, I have taught French and Spanish to students of all ages. I have taught a wide range of pupils from those who have a good grasp of the language to those who have never studied it before. I have worked as a teacher of French and Spanish in State and Independent schools, in Primary schools and in Adult Education. I like using effective teaching techniques in order to maximise each student's potential, focusing on planning activities and using a variety of teaching materials in order to bring the language alive and enjoyable for students.

Perfect! Sylvie was my French tutor for over 3 years. She was instrumental in helping me pass my DELF B1 exam. Sylvie is a tutor who is prepared to go the extra mile to help her students achieve their goals. She is experienced in teaching all levels of ability and honestly, you would have difficulty in finding a better tutor. Merci beaucoup Sylvie!
