i am a student in my final year at the Open University studying french studies. I have been going to France for over 30 years. I have just started teaching students, and recently completed the beginners course with a couple.

I begin by planning my lessons in advance and having key vocab written down. The student receives a copy of the lesson plan and we go through it with the student taking notes of key words and vocab. Each session consists of 2 or 3 different topics and then at the end, I summarise with the student ensuring they have understood the session. I advise to try and remember as much as they can to do a quick summary the following session.
